Online Ordering Policies
- We accept Master Card, Visa and American Express credit cards. We also accept Pay Pal.
- Credit card billing address must match the billing address of the customer placing the order.
- Orders must be shipped to a street address because an order cannot be shipped to a post office box.
- Vermont residents will be charged appropriate state/county sales tax.
Shipping Options for Internet Orders
The checkout screen gives you three options for shipping your order. You may choose “One Day Service”, “Two Day Service”, or “Standard Service” for you order. Shipping time, where noted, is measured from the time at which your order actually ships from our warehouse. Internet Orders to our secure server must be received by 2 pm Eastern Time in order to ship out that same day. We choose the best method to ship your order - via UPS, FedEx Ground or the US Postal Service, depending on the items and most cost-effective way to serve you. Orders do not ship on weekends or holidays.

Product Warranty Policy
All instruments in our showroom and on our shopping site carry the manufacturers’ warranties against defects in parts and workmanship. Should a defect occur within the manufacturer’s warranty period, contact us immediately.
We will be glad to help facilitate the repair or replacement as specified by the manufacturer. The manufacturer will determine whether the defect is covered under their warranty; we do not make that determination.
Warranties are extended only to the original purchaser!
Return Policy
Drum Authority proudly offers a 30-day money back return policy (less shipping costs). If you are not completely satisfied with a product purchased from Drum Authority, simply call or e-mail us within thirty days of receipt to arrange the details of your return and to obtain a return authorization number. (See special return policy for custom drum orders).
To facilitate an easy return process,
we ask that all returns must:
- Include a return authorization number
- Be in original, undamaged, new condition. This includes no nicks, scratches or other bumps and bruises
- Include all warranty cards, literature, owner’s manuals, accessories, and packaging. To be sure you can take advantage of our return policy, please save all of your packaging and don’t send in the warranty card until you are confident you are happy with your purchase.
All returns are subject to inspection. We may, at our discretion, charge a restocking fee up to 20% for items received with marks, scratches or damage; or for items without original packaging pieces.
Please allow a minimum of two weeks from the time we receive your return for your refund or reshipment to arrive. If paid by credit card, please allow up to two billing cycles for your credit refund to appear on your statement.
Returns of special order merchandise and drop-ship items may be subject to manufacturers’ restocking fees.
(Due to copyright issues, health issues and obviously used issues, we cannot accept returns on software, videos, books, drumsticks, drumheads, earplugs, in-ear monitors, and hand-held vocal microphones).

Special Order Policy(excluding custom snare drums and custom drum sets)
Drum Authority will special order almost any product that is carried by our manufacturers. To order non-stock, special order items, a pre-payment in full is required. Pre-payment is non-refundable/non-transferable, and special order items are non-cancelable/non-returnable. Manufacturers vary in delivery time, so estimated times of arrivals are not guaranteed.
Custom Snare Drums and Custom Drum Sets
Drum Authority offers many options to customize Odery snare drums and drum sets to your own personal dream. To order a custom drum set, Drum Authority requires a non-refundable prepayment of 60% of the price quoted. The balance of 40% is due when the custom drum(s) are ready to ship to you. At Drum Authority’s discretion, custom drums may be returned for store credit and may be subject to a restocking fee. Contact Drum Authority for prior approval. Returns or exchanges must be completed within 30 days of receipt.
